I don't think Arkansas is trying to mislead anyone. They are putting out transmitters now, in order to track them in Arkansas over the winter. MDWFP will also be putting out transmitters within the next couple of weeks.

The two MS ducks that are showing up in Canada haven't transmitted to the ...

There are several factors that have happened over the last couple of months. First, some of the batteries may be dying. Second, we lost a lot of hens during the nesting period. I don't think the hunting season has hurt us. We haven't had any reports from hunters taking the birds. Even if the hunters ...

Yes, there were some ducks done on Mahannah.

Wingman, they are in the process of changing their web site to include more MDWFP stuff (logo, MS options). When they get this done we should see more Mississippi ducks.

Wingman, you are correct we have 30 Mississippi satellite mallards headed toward the pot holes. We put transmitters on 4 hens and a drake Saturday morning.

It's going to be fun watching them.

The ducks that were on that web page last year were all caught and tagged in Arkansas. This year Arkansas has done 50 satellite ducks and Mississippi will do 30. They will be fun to watch and see if they make it back.

Ducks are really on the move right now with this warm weather.

Congrads to all who took a youth hunting this weekend. Whether a deer was taken or not you were successful. The youth are the future of our sport. I'm seeing less and less kids in the woods.

I took the afternoon off and took my eight year old. She was fortunate enough to take her first deer, a ...

From what you have explained, I see nothing wrong with it.

Be sure you put up all your duck equipment, especially your calls

Just be sure not to have the lead on you or in the boat while waterfowl hunting.

go24,

How the hell did you come up with this? Cause I'm far from it.

The reason they put a penalty/fine on this is because they assume every sportsman is guilty of something until he jumps thru the hoops to prove he's innocent. It's an attitude that has trickled down from the liberals on the ...
