Been hunting a long time and never seen a live duck freeze, saw one fly from the sky once in sleet from his wings freezing but not a live duck to freeze. My hunting buddy just got back Minn. and stated every lake up there is full of Mallards.

I got 2-20 foot long thin wall casing pipe (18" dia.)(closing the ends) welded a frame around it, one is open for the boat and the other end is for the dog to stand. I put 3 runners across the ...

Re: mallard machine
Use only when the birds are working around. You can not run it constant. Themodynamic, it will burn the motor up. the heat in the motor has no way to escape.

If you have a blind and heater ok. if you hunting on levee where the dog can get in grass and dry out ok. In deep water leave him at home. Do not take a young dog. I hunted Friday, Sat & Sunday, in deep water and we left Roux at the camp. I have owned every vest made for two good labs, I do not use ...

Re: Rate it...
It's hard to rate a year, because each one's different. But the base year for me was 1999, I was in 3 different leases, one in Ark. and two in Tallahatchie County. It was the best year ever. Shot ten cases of shells. if that year is a 10 this year is a 5. We have limited out several times when the ...

Has any body every used the quick connect system or gang system in deep water? I put a 5 lb weight on the bottom on my first decoy and a decoy every 5 feet, then another weight on the last decoy and weight on the end. but they seem to bunch together.

My wife purchased me a mojo duck from a body shop in Cal. several years ago. It was the second one ever in the Charleston area. I got it at Xmas and we avr. 49 mallards a day at York the rest of the year. It always works best on clear days for me. I guess I have had 3 or 4 mallard machines and they ...
