I have one of the Sportstands. Have had it since they came out about 6 or 7 years ago. It works well in different situations. I usually use a rope ratchet or rachet strap to secure it to a tree. The tree stand bottom is limited to a tree that is small at the bottom. won't work in big cypress or ...

Have seen a few birds in several different places through the delta but not much. When the shotguns start to go off they will start to move around a little more.

I shoot BB's unless I know I'm gonna be in a bunch of wood ducks or teal and then shoot 2's. I kill a lot of birds some of the others hit but can't bring down after they quit shooting. I agree w/ the Win HV and also use the red drylocks.

Location, Size(acres), and water access are very crucial for a good answer to your question. If he has water and food and is in a location where ducks traditionally use he should try to find someone to lease for the year. He won't have nearly as much headache when he gets his money at one time as ...

I spent about 6 or 7 hours in my boat this weekend on rivers and public land near you and everyone would be better off going deer hunting or fishing next weekend. A few woodies and a dozen greys leaves a lot of cold barrels on shotguns in MS. I'm sure there are a few places around the state that ...

Thats good stuff. I love the last frame where the yellow catches the duck. I've had my male do that w/ a couple winged doves but not a duck. It just don't happen in 18" of water and buckshot or in 8' of water.

I have run some really agressive tires w/ stiff walls and it hell on your bike and back. The mud lites are the best of both worlds in my opinion.

Jeff, I didn't know Raymond was back up. Great guy. I have tried to call him but his cell # hasn't worked since 1st of the year. The guy at cajun I would recommend is surely not Danny. I never fish w/ a guide but fish around them.

Hey Slinger, You can spend a fortune on a duck call and not be worth a **** at calling ducks. A friend of mine asked the old man that works the duck call booth at Macks PW in Stuttgart which was the best call to get and he replied, "THE ONE YOU CAN BLOW". Everyone blows a call differently. If you ...

GH 22 you are getting close. Luke Landry is not with Ryan anymore. He and his brother LLoyd went in business for themselves after the storm. I could get his # if anyone needs it. He needs the business. Also Bryan D. has lodging and he and son Patrick are very good guides. If you decide on Cajun Ad ...

Hey Wingshot, You are heading in the right direction but at the wrong time. The weather is unstable in Feb. and the fishing can be on or very off. I do know a couple good guides and could give you some #s for lodging but I would go before duck season or after turkey season. Fishing will likely be ...

Teoc, C-Man, Thats great to have hunts like that. You can do this when you have those good leases. I talked to you guys after your hunt Sat. and we didn't fire a shot. We were hunting public around Greenwood and the hunting is going south quick. The dozen ducks we saw were high and some butthead ...

Pull the rope out and put silicone around rope and around handle as you put it back in place. After it sits put a little more around hole and handle and ride it. It doesn't hurt to check your oil pretty often anytime you are in a lot of water.
