Had my Nova for 3 years now and no problems at all... took a while to get used to, but it kills ducks just as dead as anything else.

I have not read the book, but I actually had the chance to hunt with him the last weekend of the season last year... man this guy knows so much about the history of duck hunting, and he is a really nice guy.

i did put new gas in it so that should be ok, didn't check the fuel line or pump, or the water pump, thanks for the tips guys, good huntin to you

i'll admit it, don't know much about motors, but my grandfather gave me a gamefisher 9.9 several months ago. took it out and was running great, then it started to smoke and eventually lost power and died. checked the spark plug and cleaned the carburetor and it cranked back up, ran for a few seconds ...

you're right, huntin without a dog does suck... lost mine 2 years ago, and my best huntin buddy lost his this past summer, ambulance ran over his dog, no sh@!

just talked to a buddy that hunted at our place yesterday, ended up with 17 between 4 ppl, lots of woodies, few mallards and gadwalls... later in the morning was better than early, make sure you bring your flip flops and a cooler full of colt 45, its gonna be hot as beeyatch this weekend

cheapest way i know of is to get a long stick and jam it in the mud at the far end of your spread, tie some string to that, tie the string to some decoys, and run it back to the blind... ain't fancy and there's probably better ways, but works for me
