Is there anything that could be planted in a harvested cotton field in September that could be ready for mid duck season? The land that we had in corn last year is in cotton this year. I would not need it for early duck season because we have no ducks early anyway.

What is a rough estimate of what it cost to have a well drilled and an average diesel water pump put on? Large enough to flood land but not for irrigation purposes.
