Unguided Hunts

I'm coming down the last weekend to visit a friend of mine. His club has not been holding many ducks. Looking for an unguided hunt for 2 people. Anywhere within a 45 minute drive of Marks would suffice. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks for the responses....best of luck for the rest of the season. I'll keep praying for rain for you guys. Even if the ducks aren't there, I'm sure we'll have a good time...allways do!! I'm looking forward to getting back down in the Delta and enjoying the local hospitality.

Looking for a reputable guide or self guided pay hunt

We are coming down to MS the last weekend of the season to hunt and visit a friend. He has a lease near Marks but of course it's dry as a desert.
I have given up on praying for rain in MS, doesn't seem to be working.

Would anyone be so kind as to recommend a good operation in the north delta ...

The Goose's Revenge

My brother and I hunted the last day of the KY season and killed out limits of canadas and one greenhead in a dry cornfield.

I shot a high goose and the bird was falling straight down so I started yelling heads up. I looked over at my brother and he had both arms covering his head. It was a good ...

Thanks for the hospitality!!

I came down and hunted near Marks on a friends lease 1/20 through 1/23. Everyone that we met has very hospitable and we had a great time despite the lack of ducks.

His lease had good numbers of ducks right before we came down but the water dropped out and the birds left when we arrived. Of course ...

Does anyone know what the water level on the coldwater is supposed to do over the next few days? I am coming down to hunt with a friend on his lease on the coldwater near Marks. Trying to decide if we should bring the boat. Thanks in advance.

Not much to tell this year...ducks have been scattered and very wary. We have been doing pretty good on the Canada geese though...killed 5 limits so far this year.

New to the forum....report from KY

Hello Guys....First time posting on the forum.

It's getting cold up here in KY...supposed to be in the teens over the next 3 nights. Even with those temps it may take a few days for all of our back water to freeze. We've had alot of warm rain and the Ohio is 5 feet over flood stage, but it has ...
