Re: How It's Made

For you guys that watch the show - the plant I run making garbage trucks (Heil) was featured earlier this year. It's amazing how much filming time goes into one segment!

Re: West Point Tattoo

I think he holds records for speed - fastest tattoo/most tattoos in a given timeframe (I remember reading about it in the Columbus Dispatch awhile back). I haven't seen any of his work and can't comment on it's quality - but I always thought it was funny that anyone would want a really fast tattoo ...

Re: The guitar thread:

Rush is a collection of some of the greatest musicians of their generation. Neil Peart (drums - hands down, the best), Geddy Lee (bass - arguably the best), and Alex Lifeson (guitar - I'd say top 20)... no way 3 guys should be able to turn out music that great.

Re: Memphis guys help me

Napa Cafe in East Memphis is a favorite of me and my wife. If you book ahead, they will set-up a table in the wine cellar for a special occasion. I booked it for an anniversary dinner and my wife loved it.

Re: South Dakota Pheasant (Updated with Pics)

That was a great summation of a great weekend, Gordon. As one of the motley and mixed crew that had never been pheasant hunting before that weekend, I can honestly say that the experience was one I will always remember (except for maybe a couple of hours after my introduction to Sweet Lucy that ...

Re: Wild Blue vs. Hughes Net

I had Wildblue for the past 2 years and couldn't wait for the contract to expire. We've gone to a local tower system and it is A LOT better. Wildblue didn't work if there was a slight breeze and then you had to "refresh" half a dozen times when it did. My wife got so frustrated she stopped using the ...

Re: vienna austria

Been a few times - the company I worked for had a plant an hour outside of Vienna. I've been a lot of places and Vienna is probably the most beautiful city I've seen. If you like horses - check out the Spanish Riding School - it's the home of the lipizzaners.
