We have tried several brands they all seem to work, the one i like best is the wonderduck, the main reason is that it will run on 1 d cell for quite some time. The one we used last year ran for 3-4 weeks on the same battery.
Just my thoughts.

Boykins is not a recognized breed by the akc.
If you like a boykin you need to look also at the american water spaniel. They are very hard working dogs and great with kids.
