Just out of curiosity. Is the dog owner's homeowner's insurance providing him with a defense? I had a case a year or two ago where a bulldog bit a kid in the face and effed him up pretty bad. (plastic surgery, etc.) Problem was the dog owner didn't have homeowner's insurance and he was in bankruptcy...

What is the scoop on this deer? I have heard that it was found in two different places at two different times. I don't know what to believe at this point.

Your not alone. I found out Monday that my 5 yr. old Golden has heartworms. He has been on Interceptor since birth and has never missed a pill. Interceptor is made by Novartis. Apparently none of the preventatives work if you live in the Mississippi Delta.

I guess I am out of the loop on this one. I heard yesterday that a deer that scored 201 was found dead in Northeast Bolivar County. When I told a buddy about this he said that the story has been going around on this forum for a month now. I guess I missed it. I looked for the post but can't find it....

Yeah. I read all the info on the MDWFP website and there seems to be conflicting info. That is why I posted the question, but there seems to be conflicting opinions on here too. I figured with all the people on this site at least one person would have gotten one of these permits before.

Just found out this afternoon that my 5&1/2 year old Golden has heartworms. He has been on Interceptor since birth and has never missed a pill. Anybody been through this before? My vet said that once he gives him the shot to kill the heartworms I will have to keep him in a crate for up to 60 day...

Yeah. I've seen the info on the MDWFP page. It looks like you don't have to have a permit if you do it between the end of turkey season and the beginning of bow season, but I wan't to do it during February and the beginning of March before it starts getting hot outside.

Has anyone on here ever gotten a depredation permit for hogs and/or coyotes? I have a bunch of em and I would like to be able to hunt them at night during February. (legally) What is the process and is it a pain in the butt to get one?
