Pintlhunter:
Pinky didnt win the JR. The judges dog's and one commitee member, Mark Ingram ran the table of nine placements except for 2, maybe 3, not sure who got 3rd in Jr. A first in Senior won by a dog named Dakota and my dog Scoop got a 3rd in Senior. Mark Ingram took first in masters and Jr ...

Damn It Boy:
You should talk to ole Tellus Calhoun and get his take on FT difficulty. Hunt test extrordanaire and top SRS contender didnt have a pleasant day at the open. You should have hung around for the last two series of the derby. Heck the last one was just a little ole single about 175 yds ...

Just left the EAHRC meeting. We havent set a premium because we haven't decided if we are serving dinner. Last year it was so hot nobody wanted to eat. Just send in the normal fee and tighten it up when you get there. I think finished water will be on the river again. It was fun last year and didnt ...

You got 6 mo worth of meds that don't work. Thats a great idea to go 6 more months and let the HW's manifest. I can't tell you what to do but the sooner the dogs treated the better. Their gonna be there in 6 mo. Just larger and more of them.

Bayou Beagle:
No Interceptor did not. I had the dog check at 12 mo and again at 18 where he came up positive. Interceptor claimed I wasn't dosing him peoperly at 6 mo. I couldnt prove he weighed less than 50lbs. He only weighed 60lbs at 18 mo. In all, it was a bunch of crap so they didnt have to ...

I don't see anything changing in the near future. The pharm companies arent going to put money into devloping a new product. Their sales have not fallen much cause there's nothing else on the market to buy and they are no longer guaranteeing their product. The vets are making a killing, One or two ...

I say Ivermec for sure. I don't think Hartguard nor Interceptor are guaranteeing their products anymore. If you call them they won't even admit that theres even a problem.

After my dog got HW's on interceptor last year, I dose Ivermec twice a month all year and have not had a positive yet.

Oh yea, they still do the same stuff. It sure is nice when you get some good shooters that drop most of them close to the same place. I was at a Master test down in Canton MS and I don't think they put any shot in those boys shells. The ducks were landing, not even hit right in front of the dogs ...

I don't know about down in Jackson, but up here I hardly know of any dogs, and I mean well taken care of competition dogs that havent gotten HW's. Heck, my vet's dog got them. His dog was on hartguard. Yes I know of a few that have gotten them more than once. It is really tough on a dog. Best to ...

One of my Labs got HW's last year on Interceptor. I am now using Ivermectin for cattle and swine. (get it at the co-op) It is an injectable but it is given orally. Ivermec is the same ingredient in Hartgaurd. I dose it 1ml per 110 pds of body weight. I buffer it with propylene glycol (get it at the ...
