I have a leak in my crotch sem as well. I bought a can of that Flex Seal that you see on tv and sprayed on the seam. Letting it dry now and hopefully get positive test results this weekend.

Anyone know about how many lbs of killer weed it takes to cover an 17' boat blind? From what I see in Cabelas, 20 lbs will do it. Wasnt too sure.

Sandbars on the river
I have read the "public waterways" thread several times but could not get an understanding on sandbars within the natural banks of the river. Can you hunt these? Can you set up full bodies and hunt the sandbars? There is still alot of grey area to me on what are "natural banks".

Thanks everyone for the posts. I was able to find some soft lead on Ebay last night and plan on getting that. Still in the works for making my own mold for J hooks

Getting fired up. season is almost here. went scouting the other day. We all need to do the RAIN DANCE. Hardly no water, for all of us that choose not to get into leases, I guess we will all be huddled around a bath tub full of water opening weekend. Just dont shoot at low birds okay?!

I have a strap weight mold and have tried to pour weights several times but they keep breaking. I have read that you need to use "soft" lead in which I do not know the difference in either. I would prefer the J hook weights that supposedly does not require the "soft" lead but I have not been able to ...
