Eagle Lake

I've noticed a lot of you guys talk about Eagle lake a pretty good bit. Does anyone ever do anything over at Lake Chotard or the one North of it? Fishing, handgrabbing, hunting, whatever, I just don't hear much about the other two lakes.

Handgrabbing is rarely done in chotard and ablmarle because of the fluctuation of the river. These two lake can be very good for bass, white perch, bream, and catfish. But like any river lake you can fill the boat up one day and not get a nibble the next. I've caught perch that would push 3 pounds in chotard and 1 1/2 poud bream won't even turn someone's head up there. Duck hunting is the same as fishing. Hit and miss.
