there are all kinds of places around the mall on the north end of town.
There is a really good Mexican place across the road from Wal Mart.

Ignore the chains; Tupelo has some great local places.
Try Connie's if you want chicken fingers.
Johnnie's drive inn is pretty neat. It is an old fashioned drive inn and is popular with the working men.
Try Danver's if you want chicken fingers, burgers, salad or baked potato, and need to eat quick.
For dinner, the Grill has a cool atmosphere (dress a little nicer). It is on main street, in a new brick building downtown. Great bar action also.
The Country Squire has great steaks and seafood. Be sure to check their hours before you leave.
Woodies (on Gloster St) is kinda pricey, but it has the best prime rib I have ever had.

Good plate lunch @ 'The Company Store' by Tupelo lumber out west of town. It's like $5 or something close and man can you get full in a hurry ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

+1 for Romies; best meat and veggie lunch in town and awesome desserts.
Try the cajun shrimp wrap or the philly cheese for lunch at the Grill. Park Heights is great for a nice upscale meal. Hard to beat Harvey's for consistently good food and service.
D'Casa on West Main has really, really good quality mexican.
Kyoto does a good job on hibachi stuff but a little pricey.

dairy kream on east main for lunch. burgers, steak fingers, tots, fries malts and shakes that remind you of your local dairy bar as a kid! 1/4 - 1/2 mile from hwy 45 and not far from elvis's house.
