Need a recomendation

Planning on taking the mother to be to Nashville for the weekend soon. Y'all got any suggestions on a pretty nice place to spend a couple of nights? Done the Opryland Hotel a couple times. Thinking about something downtown or close the Opry house.

You can just go with us April 25,26 and run the 1/2 marathon while you're there.

My wife and I stayed here in 12/2007, and it was pretty nice. Not the Holiday Inn anyway.

Stayed here a few times. Within waling distance of downtown (Wildhorse, etc). 10 minute drive to the Grand Ole Opry.

Stayed at the Hilton downtown before, its right on Honky Tonk Row and across from the Country Music Hall of Fame which was pretty interesting.

Man go to the Hermitage. It is awesome. Beautiful rooms. It is right down town.
Go to a Predators game! Really!!!
Anyway, the Hermitage is the nicest hotel in Nashville. Lots of fine eating downtown and all over Nashville . It is my favorite place to be.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Select a couple of weeks ago and it was very nice. It's right next to Vandy's stadium and close to downtown.
