First hunt test...

Postby brad77 » Fri Apr 23, 2004 7:08 am

Good ole Dax and I are headed to our first hunt test tomorrow...I think i'm more nervous than he is. Just wondering how many of you guys are going to be there. We are only gonna run the saturday Junior test, and the running orders says 38 total and i'm running 5th.

To any of you that are going to be there good luck.....And i'm open for any last minute advice

Well...I can honestly say even though we walked away with a fail, I was very proud of my pup...He ran hard and nailed the land marks, but lost his mark on the water...The bird was thrown in the edge of a brush pile in the pond...Did not kick up much of a splash, and he just did not work to it. AND the wind had picked up so not too much chance for winding it...I know excuses, excuses....

I can say that it was a lot of fun and very very exciting for me and we'll be back without a doubt.
