Puppy Mill

Postby jburt80 » Sun May 01, 2011 11:06 am

Has anyone ever dealt with Fancy Poo For You out of Monticello, Ms? We are having some issues with them concerning a new puppy. Just wandering if anyone else has dealt with them or even heard of them. If you have, PM me please. Thank you.

Got $1000 tied up in a dog that I've had for four days that I bought for my son for his bday and its about dead. Trying to see if anyone else has dealt with these folks and getting the word out not to.

I have no idea what breed of dog you purchased, but regardless of how silly the name of their place may sound, if they are a reputable business, they will get a vet to find out what's wrong with your dog, as there may be a communicable disease involved, which may affect/infect their entire kennel....in the hunting dog breeding business, a reputable breeder will replace your dog, or at least offer you a replacement from their next litter....if you've only had the dog for four days, something is really wrong, and needs to be investigated....I NEVER buy a hunting dog/puppy from anyone that doesn't have an impeccable reputation, and is not willing to give me a written 30 day replacement or refund guarantee....most reputable breeders will do that, willingly....jmho.

I had a friend purchase a super squirrel dog pup out of the Jukebox bloodline(big money), from a breeder who I had recommended to him....he had the pup treeing on his own, really good at only 5 months old....as fate would have it, he accidentally ran over the pup with his Polaris Ranger, and killed him....he contacted the breeder to purchase another pup, and out of the goodness of his heart, the breeder GAVE him another pup at no charge....that's the difference between a reputable breeder and just someone who breeds dogs.

Well, from the website, it sure looks like they're a reputable breeder, but I don't know Sh!tz about Poos....I'd just keep trying to work something out with them....and, please take the pup to the vet, if you haven't already.

Just my .02, but I would NOT classify these people as "reputable" breeders! Anyone that sells crossbreeds, and for high dollar, is NOT reputable!

How are they giving health clearances on these mass breedings and mass cross breedings? The majority of their breedings are just a bunch of mutts! Schnoodle?! Shorkie?! Morkie?!

And I bought a "shepoo." Had a 13 year old peek-a-poo that I had to put down last Thursday. Best indoor pet that I've ever had. Broke my sons heart. This situation isn't helping any. Guess thats why Im extra pissed.
