Here come the teal!
Here come the teal!
Look out, boys! There's a cool front swinging through the upper continent and moving into the mid-west right now that is dropping the temps up there about 10 degrees, and it has rain in front and wind in back of it. That ought to be enough to move big numbers of bluewings out of the prairies and right on down...just in time for the opener. Hope it doesn't move too fast and push them through too quick. Good luck on the dove opener this holiday. If the numbers don't improve on my field over here, I'm not even going to shoot the opener. But, the ones I have seen are sure healthy! Biggest suckers I've seen in a while.
dates?
What day does it open? When is the opener for the resident Canada season? Got some on a string.
