Tagging Ducks
Our club made tagging a mandatory club rule last year. I was wondering if any of you that are in duck clubs tag your ducks after each hunt?

That's a great idea DM. We tag ours too, especially the birds that are cleaned and stored on the premises. As absurd as it sounds, clubs that clean and store birds on club premises are regarded by federal statute as being a migratory bird processing facility and are held to the same standards.

Chris, here's a link to the type tags we use.....http://www.wlf.state.la.us/apps/netgear/index.asp?cn=lawlf&pid=1062
I'll drop one by your office. I had a 100 printed-up on waterproof, writeable stock from 'Party and Paper' in Columbus. All you do then, is take a hole-punch (or they can do that for you too) and puch a hole in one end for your string or wire. 'Seems to me the cost was around .25 apiece....'don't really remember. Sullivan's can probably fix you up.

I use the tags from the cotton gin. The one we use to mark modules. ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
