I looked at one at Gary's in West Point a while back. Not a bad feeling gun, but its not like any other Rem. you've ever picked up. Also, I was going to take it apart, I couldn't get it apart and neither could the guy at Gary's. May have just been that gun or maybe the come apart different than my 870. I almost bought one but decided to wait.

Havn't shot one... the first time I loked at it I thought yuck! ( A Nova wannabe).... then I saw it again and held it and thought cool! Saw one again at the cabelas on the way to South Dakota and think I might have to own one soon. It would be as a back up or for the guest that need to borrow a gun...

If you want a, throw it in the bottom of the boat, use it as a paddle, Snake killin, duck shooting when they show up gun, then I think Remington is on to somethinng with the 887...
Shoot em on Three... 1 ... 2... Boom

If it'll point, and go BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, it'll kill a duck, looks like a tough SOB to me, but time'll tell if its as good as the ole 870

I bought one right after they came out, was looking at an 870 then the 887 came about. I love mine so do all of my buddies who have shot it. Feels good and shoots great. I only wish I would have held out for the camo gun.

I don't know why but I've really been wanting to pick up an 870 Wingmaster. I think them guns just look good.

A good friend of mine bought one back around August and he loves his. I've shot it a couple of times, its a pretty good feeling gun. Recoil is a little bit more noticable than you might expect with light loads. If they'll hold up like an 870 they'll be hard to beat for the $.
