Question for the loggers on here
What is the average going rate per ton for the landowner on pulp trees and saw logs?

well if its pulp its going to more than likely be hard woods, and what kind of saw logs? I'm a forester by the way, but are you talking about miscilanious saw logs or saw logs off of say an oak?

All pine, planted about 25 years ago, thinned once, 10-15 acres to be clear cut.

second hand information here, but was told by a friend that logs here that pulp was up around 20/ton i believe......
Sun rise in the east.... and it sets up in the West, yes the sun rise in east baby, and it sets up in the west..... It's hard to tell, hard to tell, hard to tell, which one, which one I love best.....

Prices are good, but many factors are involved. Wet weather access is the most important. Better get it while you can, won't be able to give it away this spring and summer........
