I was just curious because i have been waiting 2 yrs to pull the trigger on the purchase. For over $100/dozen i was wondering what kind of luck people are having with wear and tear. I agree with Torch that they look more like a duck than any deeks i have seen to date. Slotted bags aren't a problem for me since i have a few spares laying around. My question is can i squeeze another yr or 2 out of them by slotting or just say screw it and throw them in 1 bag for convenience?

no crap on the slot bags. they suck. tried them one year for the few dekes i take to the timber hole. that thing sucked big time. weighs a ton when wet, does not drain water at all, and good luck once it freezes up. I put that thing on ebay. A while back I found a little bag by drake. thing they call it a wader bag or something, works great for 6-8 decoys. only thing is bottom is solid so it doesn't drain. i cut a couple of small slits that help but need to poke some grommets in there for a more permanent fix.

I would never put them in a bag. Slotted bags are the way to go. I will only use these on the river and I tell my clients, you break it you buy it!

I am using a regular bag for mine. I will let you know how its goes at the end of the year. I know the dekes they make without the flocking are tuff. Ohhhh yeah I have heard of putting a sock over their heads when you are packing out. I use to many decoys for all that but it would work for a couple dozen.

Bet a bill that you could sell the piss out of um......Hear is a note though, I do put panty hose over my goose decoys when I am putting them up. Flocked heads look good but when they are covered with mud its hell to get off, and my last girlfriend worked at Hooters so she always had a bunch laying around.
