The website states that the season for public waters is open from noon August 30, to noon September 9. My e-mail and my buddy's e-mail state that our "public waters" hunts are not within that date range. Has anybody else noticed this on your confirmation? Do you know if they added dates to the public waters draw?

I think the email is wrong. My original email had me down for a tag I didn't even put in for, whereas the mdwfp website had my correct tag listed. A new email was later sent out with the corrected tag information. If they screwed up the zones there is a good chance they screwed up the dates as well. Maybe a copy and paste job from last years dates?

It was the 3rd email that actually gave me the dates of the hunt, it was after I confirmed my acceptance/class registration.

Gotcha. I haven't confirmed mine yet so haven't recieved an email with the dates.

Update: Mr. Flynt was aware of the problem. The season dates are Noon 8/30-Noon 9/9,2013. Disregard any dates in e-mails. You will be getting another "corrected" email. Good Luck!

That means the first wend of the season will be on Labor Day week end
And that means lots of boat traffic on the Ross Barnett and could make for dangerous
Situations, MR green jeans y'all might wanna look at that
