DSU is a great school. Especially since The Beastmaster and The Doctor finally graduated. Much better place to be now.

Not much going on in cleveland if you like to go out compared to other college towns. It is a good school, small more personal they use the traditional teaching method instead of research methods taught at larger universities.

I graduated there in 1997, wife in 1999. Great school. Not too much to do there in the Delta. Have to get in good with the locals though. I treated it as a "suit-case" school and came home every weekend. (no fraternity for me)

Hood,

If you moved from Auburn, AL to Cleveland, MS you'd most likely regret it very quickly. If you just have to do jr. college, stick w/ the Southern Onion. Auburn is just so much nicer of a place, I wouldn't even compare the two.
Just my opinion. Take it or take it!

Great school! Graduated in 2002. Is small, but the hunting around there is great. Not much going on, except riding back rodes and drinking beer. Only has three frats and did I mention hot chick. Great sports programs. I know GH22 is going to ram it for being Division 2, but I think we have more national championships than State. Anyway if you want any more info on DSU let me know.

 If you like football, stay in Auburn. Sure Delta State has had a pretty good team in recent years, but they are division 2 or division 3. Stay where the real football is played. Also, Delta State is a private college so tuition will be much much higher, unless you have a scholarship or something.
However, if you like duck hunting better come over to the Miss delta. I imagine that we have more ducks that you do in Auburn.

BS! Delta State is a state college. It is not private and they like to give scholarships to out of state students.

Added bonus: You can get an in state license with your student ID.

And yes it is Division 2, but the athletic slogan is "DSU where champions play". Seems true as of late.

I think DSU is a great school. My bro-inlaw is the AD. I think he has the athletic department headed in the right direction.
