Boat blinds

Postby cbarton » Wed Aug 21, 2013 11:18 pm

Does anyone have any pics of a Bert Fleming blind they can post? Does he still build blinds? If so are they scissor style blinds or a piano style? Anyone ever used a banded axe blind? Thanks

I have a Bert Blind on my boat sorry I don't have any pics and I can't get you any I'm out of town. There nice and very strong. I wouldn't have anything else. I always got him to build the blind no paint and I do the rest. Painting it is very simple. And then I use avery wind blocker and camo on the outside. Next blind will not have the avery camo net on the outside. It's not very durable. Snags on limbs and stuff real easy. Call Bert at Greenwood Nursery in Greenwood and i'm sure he can help you out with whatever you want to know.

They are similar to, but better than an Avery. I have one, and could stand on the corner of it if I so choose (I don't, the dog has though).
He'll be in building mode here soon if not already.
He is on here some, pm bertf.

Thanks for the replys guys. I'm looking for something low profile. Kinda like swamprooters blind on his boat. Are Bert's blinds all the same style? But they fit each boat accordingly? Thanks again

He builds each blind for the boat its going on. I feel sure he can make it just like you want it.
