for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day

Ole miss has basically done what state did last year. Not played anybody and are undefeated and state was a -24 last year. I feel even 18 may be generous but I am excited to see what Vegas thinks of the game.

Ole miss fans just remember how much hell yall gave the "we believe" homers of MSU last year.

It's not worth the time looking it up.ScottyLee wrote:
i'm sure webby can remind me of the atrouscious record against the tide.
I've tried explaining this to these people, but they're not like us...or anyone else for that matter.hillhunter wrote:Personally I dont thing the #webelieve campagn was State fans believing that they were gonna walk into Bama and take home an easy win as it was the fans supporting a belief that the Bulldogs had a chance to play a competitive game against the Tide and possibly come home with a victory if things went their way. Obviously we were way off cause it wasn't nearly as close as we thought it should have been, but it was nothing more than a neat way to show support for a team. Now it is a punchline, but so what.
And for all of the fans that say the Rebels have proven so much more that the bulldogs had at this point last year, I say BullShat. You beat Vandy, and you beat the worst Texas team in 50 years. Yes you are on a roll and you will likely beat us this year, but thats not much to brag about either right now. So, yall can keep raggin people about we believe or whatever, but a L is a L and thats the same thing you will have at the end of the week, whether it is competitive remains to be seen. But in 5 years nobody will remember, it will just be another L in the boxscore of a season, same as State's from last year.
Your right, that reason was so you didn't have to play BAMA and LSU both on the road every other season.ScottyLee wrote:there is a reason ole miss wanted to schedule bama @bama this year, in the give and take in negotiations for the current schedule. it's apparent that we had as good of a chance to beat them there as we do in oxford.. slim to none, as it's been basically forever..
I agree....OM turns the ball over 2 or 3 times and it's a loss....I remember an OM team that was coached by a borderline retarded person going to Florida and beating the #3 team in the country....and that Florida team was dominant.....having said that....sab316 wrote:And in their right mind, who would want to? Tough match-ups on the road every other year, and both your big crowd drawing games are on the road.
I think that Ole Miss stands a chance (!!!!!!NOT SAYING THEY ARE GOING TO WIN!!!!!!), IF they play sound mistake free football and capitalize on Alabama mistakes. They will HAVE to force some turnovers and make Alabama pay.
That being said, Alabama is just so good in every position. I think we'll stuff the box to stop the run, which we haven't had good success doing, and then they will pick us apart on the 1-on-1 on the outside.
Buuuuutttt, you gotta play every game. I'm ready, and I'll be in Tuscaloosa Saturday. Hotty Toddy.
