Ole Miss v. Auburn Prediction Thread

Postby Deltamud77 » Tue Oct 01, 2013 12:18 pm

The Ole Miss defense looked really good against Bama until the fourth quarter. The Ole Miss offense looked pretty bad against Bama, for the most part. How does this translate to predicting the outcome of the Ole Miss v Auburn game? I don't think it translates at all.

I look for Ole Miss to be able move the ball very well against Auburn. I think Auburn will also be able to move the ball on Ole Miss. That said, Ole Miss is a little better on both sides of the ball than Auburn. Home field keeps it closer than it would be otherwise, but I think Ole Miss wins 35-30.

What say you?

This is a huge game for both teams. Auburn could beat us easily if we can't establish the run game. That being said, Malzahn will look at what Bama did to stop us and plan accordingly. If Freeze doesn't adjust to that defensive scheme, we are in for a very long night.

The Visor Bowl - Part I. Both teams rely on the finesse game and should be an opportunity for lots of points. Ole Miss' defense will outplay the Tigers and win 42-21.

HUGE game for both teams. The Ole Miss defense from the Alabama game shows up (and isn't on the field for 40+ minutes this time), get after Marshall and forces some turnovers. Ole Miss offense comes out with something to prove, and racks up 450+ yard of total offense. Auburn being able to move the ball its a 1 possession game in the 4th. Ole Miss wins it in the end 34-21.

Bold Prediction:
One team scores off Defense / Special Teams.

I believe our OL is better than their DL. We also have a solid kicking game and home field advantage. I don't predict scores but we will win the game....assuming we fixed the mental mistakes during the bye week :P
Chance of rain on the Plains Saturday night. slight advantage to the "sharks"

I think this may be the most essential remaining game for Ole Miss to win this season (losing to either LSU or aTm is somewhat expected and understandable). They have to win this game at Auburn though for a number of reasons...not the least of which is that it sets up the rest of the schedule.

This game has the 'WAOM' feel to it. My feelings are Ole Miss 20 - Allbarn 38.

But my heart says: Ole Miss 32 - Allbarn 28

And apparently hate "fags". Will you have all your players or will the culprits be suspended for the game?
