Crickets
Boy, nothing but crickets in the Sports Forum. You'd think the Rebels had lost their last 3 games.

Re: Crickets
Prob not going to be hearing much out of them this week. I'm sure that they will be chiming in after their next (Signature) win against the Idaho Vandals in two weeks...............................

Re: Crickets
If that high school girls basketball coach of ours would have ran the ball on the last possession , these crickets would be chirping.

Can't stand the bears, but if he'd have run the ball and went 3 and out, the line would be "He played not to lose, and lost." I was rooting for the aggies, but was impressed by the bears.swamprooter wrote:If that high school girls basketball coach of ours would have ran the ball on the last possession , these crickets would be chirping.

Re: Crickets
Kind of ironic that the TAM fan who made the Grove video chose a drunk coed from Texas, with lots of Aggie relatives, to poke fun at Ole Miss.
After seeing the ambiguously gay looking male cheerleaders for the Aggies in action on the sideline, I'll take the drunk, party girl coed. Yikes.
BTW, that redhead gal holding the pink cups owns the Miss Monogram business in Oxford and always has a tent in the Grove with great food, adult beverages, and a big screen tv. She is usually set up near my crew's tent in the Grove. She is very hospitable and hotter than a firecracker on the Fourth of July. Smart business lady. I always make time to visit her tent.
There was a large roped off area of tents in the Grove, sitting partially on our crew's normal spot, full of old Aggie geriatrics, who had to have arrived at their spot on Wal Mart scooters --- no way that lethargic bunch walked any great distance. They were sipping scotch and downing geritol shots while getting ready for their shuttle to VHS for the game. I walked over to converse, welcome them, and thank them for taking up so much room and taking our normal spot. Couldn't get much out of any of them -- they looked at me like a trespasser who just barged into their home and took a dump in the floor. I asked them if they knew that they were allowed to get outside of their roped off area to mingle and graze. They were not amused -- no smiles -- tough crowd.

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.
Re: Crickets
You couldn't be more wrong...we had a run pass option on 1st down, Wallace made right decision to throw but throw to the wrong guy, had he made the right read we gain at least 10 or more with Engram having a DB and Safety pulled into seam and middle of field...had our WR not dropped a perfectly thrown down pass on 2nd down we also convert a first down....swamprooter wrote:If that high school girls basketball coach of ours would have ran the ball on the last possession , these crickets would be chirping.
Bear Bryant was a drunk!
TAMU had a run defense on the field with safety reading the tackle to seal off any outside running and giving us 6 to block 7 on any inside running play on 1st and 2nd down...BOTH plays, better execution is an Ole miss first down and on first down a possible big gain...3rd down, TAMU just won the down and forced a punt. so better execution from the guys on the field we win 2 of 3 downs and you are jawing the coach??? Its my opinion a coach can only put you in position to succeed, he can't do it for you.

I did, what's your point??? I never claimed to be a college football coach, but when I see something that makes a lot of sense and I understand and see exactly what is happening I can be open minded enough to see if for what it is and if I thought otherwise prior I would drop the b.s. bitching at a coach doing his job when I realized I was wrong and he actually didn't do anything wrong...that fact you saw that same analysis with video proof makes me REALLY wonder why you'd come on another site and blast on our coach?swamprooter wrote:Yeah Cam i guess i am jawing a little on Hugh. I hear there are still vehicles trying to get out of the Grove...
