I've shot the LCP many times and hate that gun..So those suggestions are out...What else you got???

What is it that you hate about it?

Trigger Pull mainly..I just don't like how it shoots..You know it's not the accuracy it's the confidence with the gun...

The Diamond Backs are Striker Fire, so the trigger is much better.. It was the one I was going to get over the LCP but when the gun craze happened I got the LCP because it was the first one that came available..

I have a Sig 238 with CT laser that I really like. I would have bought the 938 but it wasn't out yet when I got the 238. I really like it. I used to be worried about carrying it cocked and locked until I saw a video about the 1911 action.

Whatever anybody picks practice with it. The first thing to go when it hits the fan and the adrenaline dumps is hand eye coordination. A couple of years ago I experience an adrenaline dump like I've never had before and could only imagine a self defense situation being the same. Many remember the post about my daughter getting hit by her boyfriend and when I told him to get lost. His response and the subsequent adrenaline dump made me have tunnel vision. It was actually pretty scary. It made me realize the importance of practice even more.

Does the DB380 have the same major feeding/slide issues that the DB9 has? There have been some major issues with the DB9 ranging from cracked slides to some serious FTF. I looked hard at the DB9's and after reading up on theme from DB's own forum and other sources decided against it. I wouldn't want to trust my life with something that was proving to be a PITA for that many people.

Personally I wouldn't want to carry a 1911 style gun in my pocket cocked and locked. Great shooting guns, just not my cup of tea.

It's hard to beat an Airweight J frame for pocket carry in my opinion.

Some of these suggestions defeat the purpose of pocket carry in my opinion. I was looking for something small and light. Maybe a shot or two at the most. Most of the time I'm going to be carrying one of my other two pistols

An empty J-frame (642) is 15oz, an empty Bond Arms is 22oz. The J frame is 1" longer overall than the Bonds is.

A J frame gives you 5 shots, Bond gives you 2.

J frame slips in a pocket very, very easily. Sights on both are menial, BUT with the J frame, you have the option of CT Laser Grips.

I love my my Keltec pf9. Take at look at the ruger LC9. I am not a fan of the 380s. I have been really wanting the DB9 but I have seen nothing good about them.
