or,

I will include in her name "Mississippi Belle" and either call her "Missy" or "Belle."

My 8 year old and now blind is Copper, the Fox and the Hound was my favorite movie is a youngster.

A 4 year old female named Dixie.

A 1 year old puppy named Belle, my daughter loves Beauty and the Beast.

And last but not least a 1 year old Choclate named Rufus. I took Rufus in after his owner saw fit to neglect him and leave him in a pen to wilt away. Probably weighed 40 pounds when I got him a couple of months ago, now a healthy 85. Probably going to make a good hunting dog too.

Mine isn't too original, I guess. Her call name is Avery, but she responds pretty well to 'Brown Dog'

I like the name scout, too. Obvious by my sig.

Name the dog what you want to...aflter all you will be calling it that for the rest of its life and it should be something that you are happy with. Afterall the DU dog is named Drake and how many dogs before him were named that? I myself would try and name it something original, but that is up to you!
