My son loved the Beretta youth gun, and we have passed it down to another boy who is shooting it this season

Ive got the Franchi youth in 20 ga. My son has moved to a full size. Had a custom nat gear finish applied to it. Hasn't been shot much. I will sell it if interested.

I like my sons 11-87 youth. Have not had any problems with it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I forgot to mention that I was
wanting an "adult" gun, not a youth as my son is a big 10 yr old
and can safely handle the bigger gun. I think he would out grow
the youth within a year and I feel like the adult gun is the best move.
He has shot my guns and handles them well. Sorry for not making that clear.

Welcome and appreciate any other feedback for sure!

If you can score a Beretta youth 20 for under $800, they are awesome. Very light weight, shoots 3", low recoil, and smooth shooting. If they still made the 1100 LT's like what I have, I'd say get one of those.

I highly recommend the Beretta 20 gauge Urika. I bought it for my son when he was 10 or so. It's light enough and most importantly it's a gun he will keep forever. Come dove season, we fight over who gets to shoot it. I bought it off of gunbroker.com Slightly used with less than a box of shells shot through it. Like Duramax says, it's shoots 3" and has very little recoil.
Son, be sure to check the oil. The gas will take care of itself. George Carter - Circa 1965

I think the youth 20 only comes in wood.

Here's a non-youth model in St. Louis:
