If not YETI, then what?
Re: If not YETI, then what?
I have a $45 soft side "Marine Ultra" by Coleman that keeps ice longer than my Generation I Yeti. Not bearproof, though. Comes with no stickers, and no accessories available.

You know that bear population in MS is expanding though. I hear they are violent critters on spam sandwiches, I hear.GulfCoast wrote:I have a $45 soft side "Marine Ultra" by Coleman that keeps ice longer than my Generation I Yeti. Not bearproof, though. I'm more worried about keeping gps4 out of my ice chest. He's hell on an iced down fudge round.peewee wrote:You know that bear population in MS is expanding though. yeah, but that cable and lock that you have to keep on a Yeti is such a cool accessory....GulfCoast wrote:I have a $45 soft side "Marine Ultra" by Coleman that keeps ice longer than my Generation I Yeti. Not bearproof, though. Comes with no stickers, and no accessories available.
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

In Biloxi, 4 wheeler loading racks are way more popular theft items than Yeti's, for some reason. After Katrina, I was parked outside my office, went out to my truck, and a homeless guy had drank two of my beers, and left a thank-you note that he only drank two as his fee for guarding my cooler from riff-raff. What an excellent business model.
