Postby TJAMES » Tue Aug 13, 2013 5:42 am

I recently moved from Brandon to Horn lake and can't find Hoover sauce anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You may find someone has posted a retailer in here.

But I'd get it shipped.

get it shipped and while you're on the phone with them, put a bug in their ear about somewhere that it may sell well in up there...gormet shop, meat shop, sportsman's store, etc.
we've got it in starkville, now (bell building supply), but as mr hoover told me..."you ain't gonna get the louise price, though!"

That cheap grocery store on Spillway Road behind Mac's Gas has it as well as Apple Annie's on Old Fannin. The grocery store is a lot cheaper. - John

Sorry, I just re-read your original post and thought you were looking for some in Brandon. I don't know nothing 'bout Horn Lake...

I have had him meet me when he was coming to Jackson and picket up a case. Works great so long as you aren't wanting to cook with it tonight.

I realize this is digging up an old thread. A friend gave me a cup of Hoover sauce to try. So far, we've cooked steak tips and pork chops with it. That stuff is some kinda good!! And it is a unique taste. It doesn't overpower the meats.

Has anyone tried it on sautéed shrimp? Seems like it might turn out similar to teriyaki. Throw in some stir fry veggies....
Never assume.

yes, good to sauté in or even better on bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. broccoli florets dipped then grilled or asparagus, too.

Rameys in Brandon used to have it look where the fresh cut meat case is , they had Hoover Nd rebel rub.
