Tornado Turkey

Got to school this am and beside the building was a goobler....Looks like he was skint up pretty bad from the tornado that came thru Monday night here....

Can you imagine how many birds we lose when tornados rip thru all those woods at night in MS and AL. Man, it's got to be a lot.

I can only imagine. I recall a thread on another forum where two birds were dead at the base of tree when someone found them. He assumed it was a lightning strike.

We had golf ball size hail. I imagine that is not good for the nest.

As hard as they are to kill you think they would come out of a tree at night with weather bearing down on them but they won't. I've seen them sitting in trees in TX with the worst lightning imagineable popping all around them.
