Call Josh Pace in Brandon. 601-942-6451. He's a licensed arborist (tree surgeon), which is the only way to go.

Kips tree service cut one for me that nobody else would even give me a price in and did it for $400.

Morgan Tree Service Albert Morgan 601-613-4972

I insure about 6 tree services, one already mentioned, and Morgan Brothers is who I would call. Just had a tornado rip through downtown Brandon a few weeks ago and got to see all of them in action and on paper.

I hear a lot of good from Kips or Big Johns
Think pricing has a lot to do with ease of cut and how many lines it will take

+1 on Kips. They cut down three trees on my place, ground the stumps, raised the canopy of the rest of the trees, and cleaned up the debris for a grand. Of course, I paid them cash for these services AND they left the mulch. (I specifically asked them to do that so I could try to grow grass on the side of my hill a.k.a., my yard.)

They are very professional and do an excellent job. And don't expect them to be slow about the job either. They come in, do the work, and get the job done.
