Any Rock Guys?

I bought a lot of items at an auction. In it was a rock bigger than a basketball. I think it is some form of quartz. Do any of you know anything about this and if it has any value? I have pics that I can text. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a geode, maybe.

If it's that, you can crack it open and it will have some cool quartz formations. You can but them and have them split it open for about $30.
