Weren't some of the State Dove Fields baited and the Fed's were trying to write tickets to people huntign in them, until they found out they were State fields that they had charged folks to hunt in?? Then it kinda all just went away, but if I remember correclty the Fields were considered by the Fed's to be baited??

Did this happen or was I dreaming

I have bought a permit every year since the first one several years ago. I have enjoyed all and really enjoyed each. I didn't get to hunt last year after buying the permit and would have let someone else have it but once the permit is purchased it is not transferable.
