this make me wonder a little. Most pro shooters and shooting instructors tout how the longer barrels help their shooting by improving swing and follow through. And there are lots of devices out there to add weight to the end of the gun for the same reason, and to reduce recoil / muzzle rise. I wonder how it swings and feels on the gun? It is "modular" so you can reduce the length and their by weight.
I cant wait to see / play with Chevy's.

very true
The more you reduce the length of the suppressor, the less effective it becomes though. I usually hunt with a 28" barrel, I haven't seen many 40" barrels in the blind. I suppose I could cut my barrel down to 16" (shortest allowed without a form 4 or 1) and have any overall length of 28".

All my hunting buddies are too right fisted to spend the money on something like this.

I like the idea, but in the current package I just couldn't pull the trigger.

I could see an application during turkey season though (other than the length)

18" is the minimum for shotguns, 16" for rifles! Just so no one gets mixed up and hacks their barrel off committing a felony ha!

Still better than the 157-165 DB of an unsuppressed shotgun even with the 6" model. I think it is a good start! SilencerCo is an awesome company and the products get better and better with time! I bet they will introduce some other cool stuff soon!

dB AT EAR:
12" - 132.0
10" - 134.1
8" - 137.0
6" - 140.6

dB AT MUZZLE:
12" - 137.9
10" - 141.1
8" - 145.1
6" - 149.2

Oops, forgot about the difference between rifle and shotguns. Thanks chevy. I've got a sparrow and am very happy with it.

That's what my buddy plans on doing he just picked up a 870 barrel that is threaded and 18inches ;)I've shot their suppressor on a h&r 357 rifle with 158 38s. LAWD HAVE MERCY talk about silent. You hear hammer and the bullet smacking a hogs head is sweet!
