Nobody hates the Bears more than me......to another point.....usually the people that give the school a bad name (walking with Confederate flags) have never stepped foot / been students on campus......kinda like the big redneck Alabama fans with the big stickers on the back of their truck

Yes it is, I have some very good friends that are some of the most liberal minded people I know that are UM graduates. They are reaping what some of their alumni want.

Why is it that the Confederate battle flag causes a bad reputation????????

I don't agree with this "meaning" of the flag, but it is because this is all they see when they see that flag.

I fell sorry for all that OLE MISS has to go through every year, they need to stand up and be counted. Confront all that media mess with facts and polls. And tell them the SOUTH IS WHAT IT IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE..............
