Better hatch than I thought..........

Seen several hens with good sized poults the last couple of rain events. All of these sightings have been in the hills, but still a good sight to behold. Was really thinking with the rains/weather we had seen and the lack of poult sightings in June and July that we were not looking at a good hatch year.

I've seen a lot of poults in the north delta all summer long. Seen a few hens by themselves too though.
