Years ago made a blind w/chicken wire, some lil rebars, laced w/barnyard grass. Stuck it up in the "field" sat on bucket w/ lil plyboard to keep from sinkin in da mud. Ducks flared... Finally I pulled it up laid down on my back and threw it over me and dog. Managed 4 mallets but was covered in mud...too tall profile killed the effectiveness.... In lotta situations stick up stuff just won't work. The pit blind perfect example.... My "mat" evolved into lean up grass mats w/back rest to decrease the profile and shadow as much as possible....later ereybody got Finishers w/neotub....just sayin prolly work where profile ain't an issue....The new haybale deals go over the top of the thinking about profile due to the abundance nowadays.

Later came up w/love seat deal for semi low profile...Unpressured birds easy....local/pressured takes finessing....but ereybody knows dat....
Havin hell w/IPhone and des big fingers....

Anyway I could see yours when they arrive....I'd really like to have a couple for sheet water but, I can't see them working without the legs unless you're sitting in the water, the sides don't seem high enough to use a chair.....Thanks...???

Holla at me in a couple of years when it's been hanging out in the back of the store room and forgotten about and I'll give you $50 for it. :D

Bill,
When you get yours let me know. I think we can make some legs pretty quick and easy. Already got some ideas.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Gladly. It may stick up too high for sheet water. I was thinking of using along an unharvested rice levee, just off the bank of a slough were there is plenty of short grass and weeds but no big trees, and in a field with lots of smart grass and coffee bean. I'm not really interested in the legs but they said they were out of the legs. I have a pretty good marsh stool from momarsh I think. It will help me keep as low a profile as possible. I use a tri fold beach chair for fields with some burlap/marshgrass over me

Got two in the mail today. No instructions but pretty easy to put up. Quality materials and just enough room.
