Get a small hand gaff to get those carp out. They bleed and slime all over the place! Had one flop and rip my big toe nail off a few months ago.

Ya I was wishing I had a net in the boat. Sucked having to grab that nasty thing.deltadukman wrote:Get a small hand gaff to get those carp out. They bleed and slime all over the place! Had one flop and rip my big toe nail off a few months ago.

Nice boat. If you are anything like me, those rod holders are pretty much useless and just get in the way. I'm not sure who uses rods short enough to fit in those things anyway.

I'm going to run pvc pipe through the front deck so I can put my fly rods in there while assembled. My 7' conventional rods fit as is though.dukhntn wrote:Nice boat. My 7' and 7.5' rods won't on my 1756. A 6.5' might fit, it would be close. I noticed on some of the newer models that there is an area recessed into the back deck in order to fit longer rods.
