Any Primos Truth scholars or collectors

Postby stang67 » Sat Sep 06, 2014 9:55 am

I have a small collection of the dvds , mostly der and turkey hunting. I recall one DVD that had a bonus section where they interviewed company members about their favorite hunts through the years and then showed those hunts. The hunts I seem to recall were the botched bowhunt with D Davis and his son and/or the gun hunt with D Davis and a son on a green field where he killed a big buck. I also remember them showing a very early turkey hunt and a very early hunt with W Walker where he kills a buck (maybe nicknamed The General?). These clips were in addition to the other hunts from that year.

I swear I own the DVD with this on it but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know which one it is?

The DVDs etc with the primos crew from the past 15 years should be worth something in the future especially the 2014's. Since almost the entire crew is GONE!!!!!! What a shame.

Where did they go? I'm a little out of the loop on this one, what's the story?

TRUTH Best of 10 years. Not sure if it ever made it to DVD, but I know that it was on VHS. This Video came out around 2002 ish.

You sure? This seems too early to have the hunt with D Davis and his son. I'll check and see if I have that one. I kind of think the "best of" portion showed 2 hunts with Dean and a son: the one on the greenfield and the bow hunt (maybe at Roseland) where Dean bleated to stop the deer and it spooked him out of range.

This is the same video where Cuz was filming the kid that missed the 4 point with his bow like 4-5 times and Cuz is laughing and the kid gets mad and tells him to shut up.

There was also a turkey DVD where in the bonus footage they interviewed employees about their favorite hunts and aired about 3-4 of them. I can find that out for you as I don't remember. Is this what you are talking about?

I think it may be the one with the employees interviewed and giving their favorites. Seems like there were a couple of old deer and turkey hunts shown.

I have not heard the same story twice on that situation, so a video would probably be good entertainment.
