Tritronics/Garmin

I have been using Tritronics for about ten years and never had a problem other than losing a transmitter or two which leads me to this question. I lost a transmitter and was looking for a new or reconditioned one. Cant seem to find one so I went on tritronics website and after reviewing the waterproof specs on the new models I am not sure if I want to buy one. If not tritronics then who?
