36th deer taken and # 10 with a bow at the ripe old age of 12. He left the house at 4 and got in his blind at 4:15....called me at 4:44 to come help him drag her out. Mighty proud of our seven month old Lab (Baylor) he is 2 for 2 on tracking jobs this year.
Oh and one proud daddy in the picture too....

Can we get Ol Buck's overall harvest stats by age?
Edit: I ask this question simply because I'm curious. After reading it over I see that it could be taken as a bit aggressive... not the case. Congrats to Buck on a well placed arrow!

Ol Buck don't play, is right! You've done a jam-up job with him and should be proud. My boy is 11, and I remember them killing their first close to the same time. Blake was 6. May have been earlier for Buck. If I remember right, Buck was shooting a 7 mag.. He has always been a stout youngun. Got Blake a "real" bow this year. I didn't have him ready for this fall, but we're looking forward to gun season. Tell Buck congrats!

Re: Ol Buck dont play
Smoke its all good
He harvested his first buck with a muzzleloader at the age of 5....he harvested his first with a bow at the age of 6 (the youngest in the state of Mississippi). He hunts everyday....we are blessed to have a place by the house for him to do that. He knows more about deer and the way they act than most grown men................
Sorry if it seems I brag............but I just don't think you can do it to much on your kids

No need to apologize, it is well deserved!
Can't wait until my boy is old enough to join me in the woods.
