Just curious to what others feel about them.

I voted no with the fact that people be considerate of others. The toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde (while lower than regular cigs)are still present in the exhale from vaping.

Did a double take today in bass pro when I saw some guy blowing what at first appeared to be smoke. I'm guessing it was one of the e-cigs.
That dang Magnolia Vapes commercial that comes on Z106 all the time had me fooled for the longest. I kept wondering why "Magnolia Baits" kept advertising for e-cigs. Guess I'm just old fashioned.

Nah, I'll clarify... We have too many restrictions as it is thanks to government. I have no issues with people smoking if they wanna smoke however if someone is not considerate and blows smoke in my kids faces we may have an issue.

From seeing all the ads, and such they bascially saying they are safe. I highly doubt they are from what I have read and dont have a issue of people using them around me unless indoors in a confined area. Outside, puff away.

I read a scientific eval of the exhaled vapors produced from these a few weeks ago. They are "safer" than regular cigs but you're still getting all of the toxic chemicals. The "safer" part comes in due to lower levels of those toxic chemicals.

I voted 'yes', they should be banned. There are just way too many things about these items that we don't know.

They are not tested to be safe at all. In fact, there are NO standards for production anywhere. (You could be vaping a dog turd and you wouldn't know it.)
They are not proven to be a safe alternative to smoking. If they were, why market these things to kids? (Don't believe me? Check out some of the flavors, then name one person over the age of 18 that thinks some of those are "appropriate".)
Every single person I have seen using one of these things looks like a freaking dork.
Water Vapor = human spit. That's just gross.
Oh, and don't call it a 'rights issue'. That is stupid. The individual rights of one person end where the individual rights of the next person begin.
Nobody owes you anything.
