Well heck.....A man that wants to do things the right way would just tear it down and start over:) In all honesty.......either way you decide to go it will be far superior to batt ins. I would do the foam, but that is probably because we just use a lot of it on the commercial side of things and in my simple mind its a better product, but I honestly haven't done much comparison between the two.
