Transferring apps?

Postby Greenhead329 » Tue Mar 31, 2015 11:43 am

I have several apps on my computer from where I backed up my old iPhone; I have an iPad now and was wondering if I could put some of the paid apps I haven't backed up on it like weather ?

If you are using the same itunes account on both, you should be able to go in the app store on the ipad, go to the updates page at the bottom, and then hit "purchases" at the top. from there you can install anything you have already purchased on the new device.

you need to make sure you are regularly backing up your ipad by syncing and updating your software with your computer and/or Icloud. If you were doing that you probably wouldn't be asking this question. Anyway, I see people all the time fussing about their iphones and then fussing when they get a new one and don't have all their contacts. That's what I like about apple products.......it's so user friendly to share them across your devices. I use the same username and password across all of our Macbooks, iphones, and ipads and don't buy the app but 1 time. We are able to sync our calendars so that when my wife puts something on there I see it too.......and when I put a meeting on there, she knows when it is.
