Fees are going to be based on how complex your business is, do you sell inventory? or is it just informational?
The hardest part is getting it set up and then if it is just informational the maintenance isn't bad at all. I don't do if for money so I can't tell you what one would charge..

It depends on what you're going to do with it and how many bells and whistles you want. It's not all that expensive to do it yourself, but you have to know what to do. My wife and I do a few simple ones on the side.

VERY open ended question. You need to provide more details. Just a warning it usually costs way more than you think.

A friend of mine uses Jim Sherwood with http://mediagin.com
I've know him for several years, and he is a good guy.
As others have said you can spend as much or as little (do it yourself) as you want. If you do decide to hire it out and will be needing some graphic artist type work, make sure they can handle it. If you do need some graphic art work, it can be money well spent to hire a graphic artist to work with the web designer. The few web designers I know a great web people, but may not be the best graphic artists but they try to be.

Yea like Johnson said pretty open ended. If it's a simple site informational only, low design need, DIY, doesn't cost much at all. Need a lot of design, a lot of custom scripts , custom from ground up built in Wordpress can run around 5-7 grand. Or a pro can take an already built WP theme an add what you need for a grand or two. I see a good many folks who want or need a website but haven't even got a solid business logo or one at all. That's another cost. a basic web domain can run you around 12 bucks a year, a common known name can run into thousands easy. But like said it is almost always more than you expect.
