Already starting to happen just because the police are reluctant to get involved..

Arrests in Baltimore down by 32% since the riots, crime up, Homicides up 40% and non fatal shooting up %60.

I have only had two instances where I thought the officer was out of line. One was just an extremely rude highway patrol and the other was an ocean springs police. The OS officer had the swat team mentality referred to above, he never took his hand off his gun, walked backwards from my vehicle and would not even come to my window, just barely stuck his head up far enough to yell at me and get my info. I guess I can kind of understand his actions with all of the recent activity.

I'm with you. I have had nothing but bad experiences with LEOs. Had a GW do nothing but harass me and my family hunting on public land outside of Okalona the entirety of my childhood and high school days. We got checked EVERY time we hunted over there. There might have been a couple of times each year we didn't checked. This all happened because one fat booty GW there had an issue with my grandfather unrelated to hunting and put the rest of the GWs that patrolled there on alert so we were constantly assumed guilty of something. We just tolerated it unfortunately. Almost every time I have been pulled over for speeding or gone through a road block the LEO has been a straight up "turd-cutter". Got a breathlyzer physically forced on me in Madison at a roadblock. Busted my lip forcing me to take it. I had not even been drinking but the others with me had so I was assumed guilty on the spot I guess. In Arkansas had a GW search my entire truck and dumped all of my stuff out on the ground, did his best to break my plug, and accused me of trespassing on my own lease. The only thing he found was the lack of a signature on my state stamp. Reason I was checked because I called him to come look at how people had been trespassing on the lease and shooting at my decoys with high powered rifles. So I got a warning then he hauled booty slinging rocks all over my truck. Called to complain and his superior laughed at me, said no way it happened, and hung up on me. So in my opinion most of them have lost sight of why they have a job and have an attitude problem or are drunk on power. We need more Andy Griffith and Barney Fife minded cops than these hot head SWAT team minded guys. So yes a lot of these problems have been brewing for years and people have finally had enough of the over powering always right and do no wrong LEOs. Myself I just try to say as little possible and get the encounter over with quickly. Maybe I just have bad luck or always find the wrong ones to deal with.
I agree 100%. That's exactly what I'm saying

His actions would definitely be justified now with what is going on. Have been a lot of shootings in Jackson the week also. Hopefully it calms down sooner than later and doesn't escalate much more.
