A Tale of Two Wolves
One evening, an elderly
Cherokee brave told his
grandson about a battle that
goes on inside people.
He said, “My son, the battle is
between two ‘wolves’ inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger,
envy, jealousy, sorrow,
regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.
“The other is good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion, and faith.”
The grandson thought about
this for a minute and then asked
his grandfather:
“Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee replied,
“The one you feed.”

Webb's definitely feeling a bit of a sting from several media outlets and old teammates.

I am conflicted about of Brandon Webb, myself. He rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Makes you wonder.
Re: The Tale of Two Wolves
agreed. there is a definite trail of dumpster fires that seems to be both following in his wake and building continually. the sourcing (and, resourcing) of information for validity then toeing the red-letter line in its presentation would have to be an imperative when your working in/around what amounts to a shark tank full of alpha males.

I agree. I actually know a couple of guys that run in his circle of friends or co-workers. Even those guys seem to tread lightly in being complimentary of him. I think Webb is his own biggest fan and that gets in the way of his "journalism" from time to time. He is very much a relativist.gator wrote:agreed. there is a definite trail of dumpster fires that seems to be both following in his wake and building continually. the sourcing (and, resourcing) of information for validity then toeing the red-letter line in its presentation would have to be an imperative when your working in/around what amounts to a shark tank full of alpha males.
